Incense cones or sticks? A quick guide
If you have never bought incense, the first question is cones or sticks. Both are cheap at Penny Profit, so you can try each and see which you like.
Sticks
Sticks are the classic. You light the tip, let the flame go out, and set the stick in a holder. We carry Satya and HEM sticks at $2.79 to $2.99 a box, plus an Incense Stick Holder at $3.99. They come in the most scents, so if you want to pick a specific smell, start here.
Cones
Cones sit upright on a small stand or dish. Satya Nag Champa and Super Hit dhoop cones are $2.99 for 12 cones with a stand. The HEM cones are $2.99 each box and come in White Sage, Precious Lavender, Myrrh, Precious Patchouli and Frankincense. The Patchouli box has 10 cones.
Which one for you
Want the widest choice of scents or a long thin look in a holder? Go sticks. Want something that is ready to go with its own stand? Go cones. Either way you are spending about $3 to find out.
Where to go next
See the incense page for both, or read incense by scent to pick what the room should smell like. Backflow cones need a backflow burner, which is a separate item.
