Walk into the Zen Room and you’ll smell it before you see it — our biggest in-store selection of premium imported incense. Sticks, cones, dozens of scents. If you’ve ever stood in front of that wall wondering where to start, this guide is for you.
Sticks vs cones — what’s the difference?
Incense sticks are the classic. A bamboo core coated in fragrance, they burn slow and steady — usually 30 to 60 minutes. Best for filling a room and setting a mood over time. This is where you’ll find most of our range: Hem, Satya, Flute, SAC and Juicy Jay’s.
Incense cones are compressed fragrance with no bamboo core. They burn faster and stronger — about 15 to 20 minutes of intense scent. Better for a quick reset: one cone before meditation, one while you clean the house. Look for Hem and SAC cones on the wall.
The short version: sticks for atmosphere, cones for intensity. Most regulars end up with both.
Find your scent family
With this many scents, it helps to think in families:
🌸 Floral — Jasmine, Lily, Rose, Lotus. Soft, calming, the crowd-pleasers. Flute’s florals are the ones people come back for.
🌲 Earthy & woody — Sandalwood, Nag Champa, Sage. Grounding, meditative. Satya’s Nag Champa is the benchmark everything else gets compared to.
🍮 Sweet & gourmand — Amber, Pumpkin Pie, Cotton Candy, Brown Betty. Warm and cozy. Juicy Jay’s owns this lane.
🌿 Fresh & herbal — Cannabis, Champak, Lemongrass-style blends. Clean and bright.
🔮 Spiritual & ritual — 7 Chakras blends, Dragon’s Blood, Frankincense, aromatherapy sticks. For smudging, meditation and ritual work.
Not sure? Come smell them in person — that’s the one thing a website can’t do. Photos don’t do it justice.
How to burn incense safely
1. Use a proper holder or burner — sticks need something to catch the ash, cones need a heat-proof dish.
2. Light the tip, let it catch, then blow out the flame. You want a glowing ember, not a fire.
3. Never leave burning incense unattended, and keep it away from curtains, kids and pets.
4. Crack a window if the room is small — strong scents build up fast.
