The iPhone 5 Dock
Apple discontinued the iPhone 5 in 2013. The Lightning port it introduced got retired in 2023. And yet — sitting on a shelf at Penny Profit — there’s a brand-new iPhone 5 dock, waiting.
Who’s it for? Someone with a drawer full of old iPhones they can’t let go of. A collector. A grandparent whose “good phone” is a 5S and always will be. A prop master for a period piece set in 2014.
That’s the thing about this store. We don’t just carry what’s new — we carry what’s findable. Obsolete tech, gag gifts, one-of-a-kind oddities. Half of it you didn’t know you needed until you saw it.
